Jason Aldean Tickets – Keeping Awards Shelves Wide Open   by Brent Warnken

It might be a “crazy town” for Jason Aldean, complete with tons of neon lights and Hollywood starlets, but it is a dream come true. The country music star who recently saw his 2009 release Wide Open go platinum recently released his fourth single “Crazy Town” on the news that he will be premiering it during the CMA Festival in June.

As a relative newcomer to the genre, this country cowboy (complete with boots and a hat) has quickly welcomed overwhelming success. With three weeks of consecutive number one hits, Aldean’s new song was unleashed March 1 to rave reviews. “This song really is all about the love-hate relationships that every new artist has with Nashville when they’re just starting out…the ups and downs can be pretty overwhelming. It takes a lot of hard work to push through,” Aldean said on his website. A familiar hit to longtime Aldean fans (he’s been playing it on the road for years), “Crazy Town” can be heard when Jason Aldean supports Wide Open. Get your own pair of Jason Aldean tickets online.

As “Crazy Town” looms over the number one spot, Aldean holds onto this year’s record as his first three tunes – “She’s Country,” “Big Green Tractor” and “The Truth” – were the only three consecutive number one hits to earn a spot on the country charts this year in a total of eight weeks. With a hefty Wide Open Tour and festival appearances scheduled throughout the summer, you can bet that the next few hits from Aldean are going to be high on the charts, as well.

Recently added to the list among superstars like Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride and Keith Urban for the 2010 CMA Music Festival, Aldean joins the ranks of country stars that have performed with the festival since 1972. The event is scheduled for the weekend of June 10 and is just one of many appearances Aldean is set to make this summer as he pushes the Wide Open Tour through the end of March.

At this point in his career, Aldean is anything but a “new artist,” though with just three country albums under his belt and less than a decade in the business, he is still pegged as a newbie. Yet the “newcomer” has managed to sell over two million records with his first two albums – 2005’s Jason Aldean and 2007’s Relentless – while continuing to see success with his third. The first victory for Wide Open came with “She’s Country,” followed by “The Truth” and his biggest hit yet, “Big Green Tractor.”

The latter, a May 2009 release, follows the country standard that every boy writes about: his equipment. When it became his third number one, his wife celebrated with his own piece – a John Deere. “She’s surprised me with a tractor,” he said to GACTV website. The single stayed at the top for four weeks and helped to push Wide Open toward another promotional outing. Now the Macon, Ga. native opens up to millions more as he explains on his website, “I don’t do anything half-ass, and you never have to guess on where I stand on things.”
